Hi friends … Happy Monday!
Uggghh, I’ve been on my couch with a nasty flu bug and haven’t had the strength or energy to paint furniture – buuut I’ve been thinking about you. I realized the last time we connected with a reader’s survey was back in January 2016, so I’d love to hear from you again!
Any feedback you have to ensure this little blog of mine continues to be a blog you want to visit is really appreciated.

Hi Denise: I’ve appreciated the sharing of your techniques. Especially the products that you use, the chalk paint recipe and such. I did have a problem with my chalk paint recipe. The POP settled to the bottom, even though I kept mixing it. I think I should have put it through a sieve when I mixed it in the paint.
For some reason, I thought you were in Alberta. Can’t find your location now, on your blog or your Facebook page. I’m in BC and like to follow Canadian sites.

I really enoy your blog and gives alot of inspiration for my own projects. I guess everything can be improved upon but I do enjoy what you are doing. BTW, I went through a similar situation with my mother (dementia) a few years ago. M y sympathies are with you and your family. Hang in there.

They inspire me to make over furniture too but, I must say, I’ve turned into a curb side scavenger, lol! I’ve promised myself no more until I do the pieces I already have in the garage. After purchasing a new beach house, I was searching for inspiration and came upon your blog. I enjoy your minimalist style using neutral tones without looking sparse or boring. Our lives are so overwhelmed with visual stimuli & it’s great to have a home that’s a restful place. I have a whole house to decorate on my own & i have started saving treasures with AS chalk paint. My creativity has come back & I’m loving it!

I stumbled across Salvaged Inspirations and signed up for email alerts as I was so impressed with the content of the site. I enjoy seeing old furniture being given a new lease of life and I see brilliant examples of how this can be done sympathetically, artistically and with so much care and thought. I really like your before and afters and would love to know more about what to look for in a piece over what you decide is not worthy of salvaging.
